Senior product designer, founder, and coach building thoughtful experiences for real people.
I’m Holly Gibbs, a senior/lead-level product designer with 14+ years of experience across technology, healthcare, publishing, and service-based businesses. I’m currently exploring senior and lead product design roles while also building SendTax and The Grove Coaching.
What I’m building
Open to Senior / Lead product design & UX design roles
I’m currently exploring senior and lead product design opportunities, with a focus on complex product strategy, UX clarity, systems thinking, and inclusive design.
Co-founder, Send.tax
Alongside my business partner Liam Howell, I’m building SendTax — a product focused on making tax-document collection less confusing, fragmented, and painful for everyone involved.
Founder, The Grove Coaching
I founded The Grove Coaching to support neurodivergent teens, adults, and families of teens with practical, affirming coaching around school, work, independence, and everyday life.

What I do best
-
I help teams define the right problem before rushing to solve it. That includes clarifying user needs, identifying business constraints, shaping product direction, and making thoughtful tradeoffs when scope, timelines, or technical realities are in tension. I am especially strong in situations where a product needs structure, focus, and a clearer path forward.
-
I design flows, frameworks, and information structures that make complex products feel more intuitive. Whether I am working on navigation, multi-step workflows, feature organization, or systems-level interaction patterns, my goal is to reduce confusion and help people move through an experience with more confidence and less friction.
-
I care deeply about building products that are usable, respectful, and accessible to a wide range of people. That means considering accessibility, cognitive load, clarity of language, edge cases, and real-world user needs from the start, rather than treating inclusion like a final checklist item.
-
I work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, marketers, and stakeholders to move ideas from concept to execution. I am comfortable facilitating conversations, building alignment, advocating for users, and helping teams make good decisions together, especially when the work is ambiguous or high stakes.
-
I am good at stepping into messy, undefined spaces and bringing order to them. I can take scattered inputs, competing priorities, and incomplete information and turn them into a clearer product story, a more thoughtful framework, and a design direction that teams can actually build from.
